We have loved exploring England with our kids!
This is a great country with many interesting attractions for both adults and children. We enjoyed spending a week checking out London – from walking the city streets, singing about London Bridge falling down to playing in Hyde Park and having a pub meal.
Blenheim Palace
We also did some amazing day trips to Peppa Pig World and Blenheim Palace. Both are highly recommended.
I also enjoyed England before kids. London has always been a favourite and, as a big Beatle’s fan, I was excited to head to the International Beatles Festival one year to check out everything Liverpool has going on.

England is an excellent destination with kids. There are many attractions aimed at families and we never had to walk far in London to hit an awesome city park usually with a playground attached.
Thanks to the excellent public transportation it is also easy to get around London with kids. I do recommended buses over the tube if you have a stroller though – then you can wheel it straight on. Kids are free on public transport so that is another bonus.
Our kids also enjoyed being somewhere English speaking after 7 months in non English speaking countries.
Whatever you have planned on your European adventure, it is worth a stop in England.
