Norway, the land of vikings and fjords is somewhere I have always wanted to visit. It always sounds like such a remote and beautiful spot. And after visiting Stockholm and Helsinki, I couldn’t help but want to complete the set with a visit to Oslo.
Oslo Opera House

Travelling to Norway was easy for us as the cheapest way to get to Europe was on Norwegian Air which flies out of Scandinavia. There are other options for getting to Norway as well, but usually it is cheapest and easiest to fly, especially if you find a great sale on Norwegian Air.
Given our short stay, we did not have to worry about getting around Norway. Within Oslo it was ultra easy to get around. You can read more about it here.
Our small taste of being in Norway with kids was a good one. There were some great outdoor spaces, good kid attractions and it is just an easy place to be. Many attractions were free for our kids.
